·        List the topics you will discuss within this answer.

·        Address each topic in a separate paragraph with the heading underlined.

30marks.

1.     Society (caste system)

2.     Languages

3.     Religion

4.     Music/traditions

5.     History

Suggested openings:

Culture is a defining factor in the identity of India, a sub-continetal region I studied.  In this answer I will show how culture has shaped/defined this region under the following headings:

1: x

2: y

3: z

Consider:

How has the topic you are discussing defined the culture of India = how has the caste system / the history / the religions etc given India a different identity to all other regions.  Ensure you constantly prove that your topic has answered the question.  Perhaps finish the paragraphs with this statement.
